What is dry stack stone?
Dry stack is the common term for a stone wall where the mortar is hidden and the joints look like there is no mortar. The wall and veneer hold together just fine because the lower areas of stone hold up the upper areas and all have mortar that is hidden from view. Sometimes small metal tabs are used to help the mortar grip the concrete block for a better grip to the block.
